The Columbia Valley is nestled between the Purcell and the Selkirk mountain ranges on the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Arrival by air into the region is either through Cranbrook International Airport, or through Calgary Airport. Many visitors arrive in Calgary and enjoy the 3 ½ hour drive through the Rocky Mountains to the Valley. The Columbia Valley includes 9 courses at 5 resorts, all within about a 1 ½ drive of each other. There are lots of accommodation choices, so you can settle into one, and play as much as you like. Don’t forget the long days in the summer, so its easy to play 36 a day.
